What happened: Kelsey Mitchell's season total climbed to 1,034 points and counting, the highest single-season mark in WNBA history. The new figure stretches the record further after the milestone fell on Sept. 18.

Why it matters: The mark cements Mitchell's 2026 campaign as the league's new scoring standard. With postseason games still on the board, every additional outing now moves the single-season line higher.

What to watch: Watch how much higher Mitchell can push the total in the rest of the postseason. Each scoring performance now resets the record she already owns.
