What happened: Los Angeles recalled forward Taylor Ward from the Ontario Reign and loaned forward Jared Wright back to the AHL affiliate.

Why it matters: The transaction reshuffles the bottom-six forward depth for Los Angeles before the scheduled game against the Boston Bruins. Wright was previously recalled from the Ontario Reign and signed a contract with the club earlier this month.

What to watch: Ward joins the NHL roster ahead of puck drop against Boston, while Wright reports back to Ontario for AHL action.
