What happened: Charlotte Hornets guard Kon Knueppel is available to make his season debut Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets. Knueppel was cleared to return after being sidelined by a left hamstring strain.

Why it matters: His return adds perimeter depth to Charlotte's rotation in the early weeks of the regular season. Brooklyn looks to defend home court as both Eastern Conference teams aim to establish their footing.

What to watch: The Hornets and Nets are scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM ET in Brooklyn.
