What happened: Kyle Tucker tied the game for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday with a three-run home run to right-center field against the Tampa Bay Rays. The blast came with two outs in the bottom of the second inning off Rays starter Nick Martinez, driving in Mookie Betts and Max Muncy to level the score at 3-3.

Why it matters: The home run erased an early three-run deficit and provided an immediate spark for the Dodgers in the series opener. Tucker, who joined Los Angeles this offseason, continues to solidify his role as a middle-of-the-order power threat for the NL West leaders.

What to watch: The Dodgers continue their series against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, with Tommy Edman slated to return to the lineup on Wednesday.
