What happened: The Los Angeles Lakers are maintaining their starting lineup against the Miami Heat. Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves will share the backcourt. Matisse Thybulle, Jake LaRavia and Walker Kessler round out the frontcourt.

Why it matters: The decision keeps continuity for Los Angeles as the rotation settles during the early stretch of the regular season. Retaining the group preserves defensive versatility on the wings while keeping Kessler anchored in the middle.

What to watch: The Lakers host the Miami Heat with tipoff scheduled for Monday at 10:00 PM ET.
