What happened: Lamar Jackson was absent from the start of Wednesday practice for the Baltimore Ravens. Tyler Huntley and Joe Fagnano handled quarterback warmups. Jackson has not suited up since injuring his ankle.

Why it matters: Extended absence keeps Baltimore operating without its starting quarterback during regular-season preparation. Huntley brings experience in his seventh NFL season while rookie Fagnano provides additional depth. Continued missed time narrows preparation options at the position.

What to watch: Next focus is Thursday participation and the official game-status designation.
