What happened: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson participated in the opening window of Thursday's practice session, per Jamison Hensley, a development Ian Rapoport characterized as promising.

Why it matters: Thursday workouts serve as the primary midweek installation period for NFL offenses ahead of weekend action. Having the 2018 first-round pick out of Louisville on the field keeps Baltimore's starting unit on its standard preparation schedule.

What to watch: Baltimore's official Thursday practice participation log and Friday's final session will establish Jackson's game status for the week.
