What happened: Ken Walker and wide receiver Jalen Royals stopped by Ronald McDonald House Kansas City to make Halloween-themed crafts with families and announce that this year's Red Thursday initiative raised $1 million.

Why it matters: The seven-figure total builds on the Red Thursday flag sales that opened at local McDonald's locations on Sept. 10. Royals joined Kansas City out of Utah State as the 133rd overall pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft (as of Sept. 29, 2026).

What to watch: Kansas City turns back to 2026 NFL regular-season preparation following the community visit.
