What happened: Fabrizio Romano shared video of Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal displaying a shirt reading 'Thanks God I'm not Madridista,' a pointed jab at rivals Real Madrid. The clip, distributed via DAZN, surfaced as Barcelona pushes toward another La Liga crown. The stunt instantly went viral across Spanish football social channels.

Why it matters: The shirt sharpens an already heated Clasico rivalry and adds fuel to Yamal's growing role as Barcelona's on-pitch protagonist and provocateur. With Barcelona holding a commanding La Liga lead, the moment doubles as a victory lap and a marketing flashpoint. It also invites scrutiny from federation officials and sponsors weighing tone in title-run optics.

What to watch: Watch for a Real Madrid response, potential RFEF or club disciplinary commentary, and whether the moment shows up again at Barcelona's title celebrations. Yamal's next match availability and tone in post-match interviews are the immediate tells.
