What happened: Topps announced the program ahead of the 2026-27 season. Patches come off the jersey after each game. Select patches will be inserted into ultra-rare 1-of-1 trading cards.

Why it matters: A 24th season extends a longevity mark no player has reached. Game-worn single-copy cards connect on-court wear directly to the memorabilia market.

What to watch: The season-opening wear and the first 1-of-1 release will set the cadence.
