What happened: Vertical 76 will give away two tickets to an upcoming Philadelphia 76ers game to entrants who join its free newsletter and Instagram account. The newsletter launches Friday with daily coverage featuring 76ers insider Adam Krell.

Why it matters: The giveaway anchors a reader-supported model built around daily Philadelphia coverage for readers, listeners and viewers. A meet-and-greet with Krell ties subscriptions to direct access during opening week.

What to watch: Vertical 76 is expected to detail entry deadlines and the game date before launch.
