What happened: Leonard Miller powered into the paint to convert an interior finish during Friday afternoon's contest. The basket paired with Miller's go-ahead three-pointer as part of a two-level scoring stint.

Why it matters: Entering Year 4 out of G League Ignite, Miller is pushing for regular rotation minutes by scoring both off the catch and off the dribble. His early regular-season activity carries over momentum from preseason play, which included a 26-point outburst on Oct. 12 and a 10-point, eight-rebound half on Oct. 10.

What to watch: Miller's second-unit minutes and shot volume will serve as an early gauge of his role across the opening week of the schedule.
