What happened: Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs (shoulder) and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) were listed as non-participants at Wednesday's practice, per Adam Schefter. St. Brown also carries a questionable injury designation.

Why it matters: The midweek absences sideline Detroit's primary offensive duo following Sunday's 20-17 victory on Oct. 25. Per ESPN (as of Sept. 29, 2026), the Lions selected Gibbs, who topped an NFLonFOX fan poll for 2026 Offensive Player of the Year, 12th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft after taking St. Brown in the fourth round (112th overall) in 2021.

What to watch: Thursday and Friday practice participation reports will show whether Gibbs and St. Brown return to the field before Detroit issues its final game-status designations.
