What happened: LSU players wore custom warmup shirts featuring Angel Reese prior to their Thursday night game in Baton Rouge. The tribute took place as Reese returned to campus for a scheduled halftime ceremony honoring her collegiate career.

Why it matters: Reese led the program to its first national championship in 2023 before transitioning to professional play in the WNBA. She recently completed her postseason run, having posted a 21-point double-double in the WNBA Finals.
