What happened: The recognition followed the season's 11th clean sheet. It is Halter's first Team of the Matchday selection in 2026.

Why it matters: The honor gives Halter league-wide recognition for his work on the backline. That defensive consistency carries added value late in the MLS regular season.

By the numbers: Halter won 3 of 3 defensive challenges and completed 92% of his open-play passes.

What to watch: His next league appearance will test whether that defensive form carries into another matchday.
