What happened: Luis Enrique delivered a second straight Champions League title for PSG, with the club's 2025 triumph in Munich followed by another in Budapest in 2026. The post frames the run as a completed back-to-back European double for the French club.

Why it matters: The repeat puts PSG's return to the final in historic company after a year spent trying to defend its first Champions League crown. It also strengthens Luis Enrique's legacy at PSG, turning consecutive final appearances into consecutive trophies.

By the numbers: PSG's Champions League titles came in Munich in 2025 and Budapest in 2026. Only one club had previously won back-to-back titles in the Champions League era before PSG's 2026 repeat.
