What happened: Speaking on MLB Tonight, analyst Dan Plesac said William Contreras "is a beast right now" during Milwaukee's postseason run. Contreras delivered a first-inning RBI single to push the lead to 2-0 and threw out a runner at third base to end an inning in the World Series opener.

Why it matters: The two-way performance helped secure Milwaukee's first World Series victory in 44 years. Contreras also hit a go-ahead home run earlier this October, anchoring the club on both sides of the ball throughout the playoffs.

What to watch: Milwaukee looks to extend its series lead in Game 2 at home.
