What happened: The Baltimore Ravens reached out to the Chicago Bears regarding backup quarterback Tyson Bagent. Baltimore faces sudden attrition at the position after starter Lamar Jackson required thumb surgery. Chicago has also continued exploring defensive edge depth ahead of the deadline, including a potential reunion with Khalil Mack.

Why it matters: Chicago previously rebuffed trade inquiries for Bagent, valuing his presence behind their starting offense. Baltimore now faces pressing quarterback needs in the AFC North race, increasing pressure to add depth before the window closes.

What to watch: The Bears visit the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night as front offices weigh moves before the trade deadline.
