What happened: The Seattle Mariners opened registration for their 2027 Fantasy Camp, a weeklong program in Peoria featuring former club players. Participants take the field at the Peoria Sports Complex, Seattle's spring training facility, following the initial camp registration announcement.

Why it matters: The offseason fan event bridges the gap between the 2026 campaign and 2027 spring training in Arizona. On the baseball operations side, Seattle's front office remains focused on its managerial search, having targeted candidates including Joe Espada, Brandon Hyde, David Ross, and Rocco Baldelli.

What to watch: Registration for the 2027 camp in Peoria remains open ahead of spring training preparations, while Seattle continues interviews to fill its managerial vacancy.
