What happened: The game went final with Miami taking a 5-3 win over Atlanta. The series stood 1-1 before first pitch.

Why it matters: The win broke the 1-1 tie for the series lead. Using a starter for another save between outings gives Miami extra late bullpen coverage.

By the numbers: Final: Miami Marlins 5, Atlanta Braves 3. Series entering game: 1-1.
