What happened: Coach Campbell commended Jahmyr Gibbs during a media availability session, telling reporters that the running back "wants to be great." The praise follows Campbell's offseason decision where he designated Gibbs as a bell-cow back for the offense.

Why it matters: Detroit relies on Gibbs to pace the backfield as the team works through its midseason schedule. His efficiency and playmaking remain central to sustained offensive production after he forced 11 missed tackles in Week 7.

What to watch: Detroit continues regular-season preparations this week, with Gibbs slated to anchor the offensive touch distribution.
