At least one more to add your list: How Dallas, with 15 standard contracts already, proceeds with Mavs lifer Dwight Powe Via @TheSteinLine on X

What happened: Powell signed Sept. 25 and made the 19-man camp roster after joining a Santa Monica workout. Connaughton is described as a Kon Knueppel favorite held in similarly high regard in Charlotte.

Why it matters: At 15 standard deals, Dallas needs a waiver or consolidation move to finalize opening-night math. Back-of-roster decisions involving Charlotte, Milwaukee, Memphis and the Lakers shape where released veterans land.

What to watch: Final cuts are due Oct. 19, when Dallas must settle its opening-night standard roster.
