What happened: Muncy broke a tie in the game with the milestone homer. He entered the night one ballpark home run behind Karros.

Why it matters: Muncy's next homer at Dodger Stadium would give him sole possession of the record. The milestone adds to a July surge that also moved him past Ron Cey on the franchise home run list.

By the numbers: Muncy reached 130 Dodger Stadium home runs in 516 games and 1,648 at-bats. Karros hit 130 there across 798 games and 2,879 at-bats.

What to watch: Muncy's next home appearance brings his first opportunity to claim the ballpark record outright.
