What happened: Albert Breer recalled that in 2008 Mike Tomlin was asked about Willie Parker saying the team needed to get back to “Steeler football.” Tomlin answered: “I don't know what Willie's interpretation of Steeler football is. But every day when I go to work, I walk by 4 Lombardi Trophies, not 4 rushing titles.

Why it matters: The answer measured the Steelers by championships rather than individual rushing totals. Tomlin has since reached a deal to join NBC's 'Football Night in America' as an analyst.

What to watch: Tomlin's takes on players and team culture now come in his analyst role, where his old quotes keep resurfacing.
