What happened: De'Anthony Melton finished with 21 points, 6-of-8 from three-point range, and 6 rebounds in a Warriors win, per the team's postgame account.

Why it matters: Melton is averaging 10.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 2026-27 through 6 games, so 21 is roughly double his scoring average this season. The Warriors brought him back in July on a cost-controlled deal.

What to watch: Golden State next plays with Melton's scoring at 21 against a 10.3 season average.
