What happened: Michael Penix Jr. and his wife, Olivia, are expecting their first child together. Supportive messages around the news pointed to a spring 2027 arrival.

Why it matters: The off-field milestone arrives as Penix remains a closely watched young quarterback after returning from an injury absence late last month. Personal updates like this are routine, but they still draw attention around prominent NFL players during the season.

What to watch: Any further details are likely to come through future public updates from Penix and Olivia.
