What happened: TSN analyst Mike Johnson addressed whether the Vancouver faithful will salute or jeer Quinn Hughes during his upcoming visit on That's Hockey. Pierre LeBrun also covered the defenseman's trip back to the city earlier this week as anticipation builds around the matchup.

Why it matters: The homecoming spotlights Quinn Hughes after he carried an eight-game point streak into Sunday while playing in the final season of his contract. Reception from the home crowd will set the backdrop for one of the marquee early dates on the 2026-27 regular-season calendar.

What to watch: Attention turns to pregame introductions and Hughes' opening shift back on Vancouver ice.
