The #MLBCentral crew was on the call for last night's #MLBNShowcase game and Jackson Chourio stole the show with four hi Via @MLBNetwork on X

What happened: Jackson Chourio had four hits in the Brewers' MLB Network Showcase game, and the MLBCentral crew broke down the performance on air. DeRo focused on Chourio's growing importance to Milwaukee as the team pushes toward the postseason.

Why it matters: The four-hit game adds to a strong recent stretch for Milwaukee, which has won two straight. The same Chourio who crushed a 403-foot spring training homer has become a fixture in the Brewers' lineup during their playoff push.

By the numbers: Milwaukee is 85-51 this season with a 4.9 runs-scored average, and has won its last two games. The Brewers lead their current series with the Cubs 2-1.

What to watch: The Brewers and Cubs play again with Milwaukee holding the 2-1 series edge; that game has not yet started.
