Jamal Murray's face when he thought this was going to rim out 🤨😭 42 points in Denver's comeback win on Saturday... what Via @NBA on X

What happened: Murray scored 42 in Saturday's 141-135 overtime comeback from 23 down. Denver hosts Golden State in the late window Monday night.

Why it matters: The 42-point outing followed a six-turnover season opener, making it an early correction in the 2026-27 regular season. A second straight high-usage night would confirm Denver's guard rotation has settled.

By the numbers: 42 points Saturday; 23-point deficit erased; 141-135 OT final; 6 turnovers in Oct. 23 opener.

What to watch: The follow-up is whether Murray stacks another high-scoring night against Golden State to open the week.
