What happened: ONE Championship said unbeaten MMA fighter Nazareth Lalthazuala earned a US$100,000 contract during ONE Friday Fights 157. The promotion framed the result as an India breakthrough while the event aired live through regional broadcast partners and ONE's digital channels.

Why it matters: The contract moves Lalthazuala from the Friday Fights pathway toward a larger ONE Championship stage. For an unbeaten Indian MMA prospect, it is a meaningful visibility boost in a promotion that uses the series to identify fighters for its global roster.

What to watch: Watch for ONE to confirm Lalthazuala's next assignment and whether the contract places him on a numbered event or another major broadcast card.
