Add “speaks Portuguese” to the Eagles resume. 😅 📺 Eagles at Commanders: Sunday 7 p.m. ET on NBC & Peacock https://t Via @SNFonNBC on X

What happened: The prime-time broadcast note adds another lusophone touch for an Eagles franchise that has courted Brazilian fans since June. Sunday's division matchup pairs the bottom two teams in the conference standings.

Why it matters: Both clubs face mounting pressure ahead of the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline. Rival front offices already anticipate Philadelphia operating as a mild seller after five consecutive defeats.

By the numbers: Philadelphia enters at 2-5 (L5, No. 15 seed) after a 38-21 loss on Oct. 26. Washington sits at 1-4-1 (L1, No. 16 seed) following a 23-17 defeat on Oct. 19.

What to watch: Sunday's Nov. 1 divisional result will shape how aggressively Philadelphia approaches roster moves before the Nov. 10 cutoff.
