In the week of his trade, Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson spoke about his time with Colts but looked ahead to playing for Via @AdamSchefter on X

What happened: Quenton Nelson said Thursday he valued the relationships he built during eight seasons in Indianapolis and was excited for his next chapter. He spent Wednesday evening learning Seattle's offensive line calls.

Why it matters: The Oct. 27 trade also shifts Seattle's previous left guard to the right side. Nelson said the two offenses share concepts but use different terminology.

By the numbers: Nelson made the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight NFL seasons and started 136 games for Indianapolis. Seattle is 4-3; Indianapolis is 2-5.

What to watch: Seattle plays Monday, giving Nelson a short window to learn the line calls.
