What happened: The 24-year-old returns to Brooklyn after receiving a 10-day contract last season. He made four NBA appearances off the bench.

Why it matters: The deal adds frontcourt depth without using a standard roster spot. His return preserves continuity after 23 games with the organization’s G League affiliate.

By the numbers: The forward averaged 4.3 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks in 8.8 minutes across four NBA games. In 23 G League games, he averaged 11.1 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 54.9% from the field.

What to watch: Training camp will offer the next indication of how Brooklyn plans to divide his time between the NBA and G League.
