What happened: Nick Cross recorded a defensive stop during Sunday night's game between Philadelphia and Washington. The play halted an offensive advance in the primetime matchup.

Why it matters: Cross, who was ruled out against the Colts in late September, has reestablished his role in the secondary rotation. His contributions provide defensive stability in divisional competition.

What to watch: Washington continues its regular-season schedule with further divisional matchups in November.
