Keaton Wagler for the Clips | 1️⃣ day to go… https://t.co/IYLnLuSQ9v Via @LAClippers on X

What happened: The 2026-27 NBA season is one day from tipping off. Keaton Wagler, the No. 5 overall pick, stands as an early storyline entering opening week. He logged rotation minutes during the October exhibition slate in Los Angeles.

Why it matters: Early shooting flashes give coaches a live look at how his spacing fits the regular-season rotation. Wings who stretch the floor in October often force matchup decisions in November. His start will shape bench minutes once games count.

By the numbers: No. 5 overall selection. Eight points on 2-of-4 three-point shooting early against Denver.

What to watch: Opening-night rotations will show where Wagler slots. Shooting efficiency in his first counted games comes next.
