What happened: On No Dunks, Trey Kirby named Houston as his winner of the weekend after wins Friday against San Antonio and Saturday in Atlanta. He pointed to Amen Thompson's late block at the rim to preserve the Friday win and praised Houston's depth with multiple players in double figures Saturday.

Why it matters: Kirby said Houston looks like one of the league's most impressive early teams because of its size, versatility and multiple late-game initiators. The hosts said the group knows its roles, with play running through the interior and Kevin Durant taking late shots.

What to watch: No Dunks returns to track whether Houston sustains the start into next week's slate.
