What happened: Head coach Kevin O'Connell provided an injury update on safety Theo Jackson on Thursday. Jackson previously suffered a quadriceps injury during Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Why it matters: Jackson provides secondary depth and serves as a key contributor on special teams. Any missed time tests defensive backfield depth as Minnesota prepares for its upcoming contest.

What to watch: Minnesota will release practice participation reports and official game status designations ahead of Monday's contest.
