What happened: The Edmonton Oilers launched a 50/50 raffle in partnership with Rogers to benefit Wounded Warriors Canada. The initiative directs funding to support Canadian Forces members and their families affected by a recent tragedy.

Why it matters: The raffle expands the organization's community support initiatives amid its regular season schedule. The campaign follows the Oilers' earlier charity raffle held earlier this month.

What to watch: The Oilers face the New York Islanders on Saturday afternoon, with puck drop scheduled for 2:00 PM ET.
