What happened: Single-game sales opened Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. through the club’s ticket portal. Full, half and quarter season-seat packages remain available separately.

Why it matters: The home opener is set for Sept. 29, giving buyers three weeks to secure seats. Edmonton’s home calendar carries 13 theme games through Fan Appreciation on April 10.

By the numbers: The 84-game slate is the NHL’s first at that length since 2003-04. Twelve of the Oilers’ final 19 games are against Pacific Division opponents.

What to watch: Fan Day is scheduled for Sept. 19, with the preseason opener set for 6 p.m. that evening.
