What happened: Oregon senior quarterback Dante Moore is out for Saturday's game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the Big Ten availability list after missing the UCLA matchup with a concussion sustained Sept. 27 against the USC Trojans. Per Pete Nakos of On3, the Oregon Ducks have not named a starter against Nebraska, with Dylan Raiola, Brock Thomas, and Akili Smith Jr. all taking practice reps.

Why it matters: Thomas pushed his way into starter contention after replacing a struggling Raiola during last Saturday's 17-15 loss to the No. 21 UCLA Bruins. A start for Raiola would pit him against Nebraska, his former program, while head coach Dan Lanning searches for offensive stability with Moore sidelined.

By the numbers: After relieving Moore in the 41-27 win over USC at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Raiola completed 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Against No. 21 UCLA, Raiola went 6-of-19 for 43 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions before Thomas entered to complete 11 of 15 passes for 156 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions.

What to watch: Lanning and the Ducks staff will choose between Raiola, Thomas, and Smith Jr. prior to Saturday's kickoff against the Cornhuskers.
