What happened: Adam Schefter reported the transaction Sunday as Green Bay set its opening roster. Parsons spent the preseason on the active/PUP list.

Why it matters: The designation removes Parsons from Green Bay’s defense for the opening month and makes Week 5 his earliest possible return. His absence creates immediate snaps to replace along the edge.

What to watch: Green Bay can revisit Parsons’ status after Game 4.
