What happened: Green Bay removed Jacobs from the commissioner exempt list Monday, restoring his eligibility to practice and play next week. He was on the field with the team Wednesday.

Why it matters: Green Bay has managed the backfield without its lead runner during the absence. His return stabilizes the rotation as the legal process continues.

By the numbers: 2025 with Packers: 234 carries for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 15 games. Drafted 24th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Alabama.

What to watch: Practice participation this week will determine availability for next week's game.
