What happened: Dallas defensive coordinator Christian Parker spent one-on-one time with edge rusher Rashan Gary during individual drills at practice. Gary is in his first season with Dallas after being drafted by Green Bay in 2019.

Why it matters: Dallas sits at 2-3 with the league-worst EPA per drive and recently added Mike Pettine to support Parker. Production from Gary remains central after Dallas opened the season waiting for sacks from its new edge pair.

By the numbers: Gary made 45 tackles with 7.5 sacks in 16 games for Green Bay in 2025. Dallas is 2-3 with the league-worst EPA per drive.

What to watch: Watch whether the Parker-Gary work shows up in the pass-rush plan this week. Pettine's role alongside Parker bears watching as well.
