What happened: Defensive coordinator Christian Parker said Quinnen Williams holds himself accountable, giving him the standing to hold teammates accountable. The defensive tackle is one of four Cowboys captains.

Why it matters: The leadership role adds to Williams' place in Dallas' defensive plans; Brian Schottenheimer has backed his fit in the unit. Williams is listed questionable with a hamstring issue after an estimated limited walkthrough Wednesday.

What to watch: Dallas' next injury report will offer a clearer indication of Williams' availability.
