What happened: Craig Woodson spent time in the medical tent with a shoulder injury, while Dell Pettus suffered an ankle injury on special teams. Tight end Eli Raridon ended his day with one catch for 30 yards before departing.

Why it matters: The defensive attrition pushed Jaylen Reed into action alongside Kevin Byard following the Kayshon Boutte trade. Raridon's departure left New England with only Hunter Henry and Cameron Latu available at tight end, as Tanner Arkin was inactive.

What to watch: New England will evaluate its injured personnel ahead of Week 3.
