What happened: PFF paired the Vikings with Justin Herbert, the 49ers with Garrett Wilson and the Chiefs with Cooper DeJean. The 10-item set is framed as fairytale scenarios, not agreed or finalizing deals.

Why it matters: Deadline additions at quarterback, receiver and cornerback carry direct playoff-race consequences. San Francisco already steered clear of a major receiver move while Mike Evans is evaluated for an Achilles injury.

What to watch: The deadline will show whether any of the three teams pursue an actual offer.
