What happened: PFF listed Buffalo as a riser in its latest rankings. The update arrived Oct. 21 during the 2026 regular season.

Why it matters: Midseason upward movement places Buffalo among the AFC contenders. Holding that tier through Week 7 would strengthen its position ahead of the trade deadline.

What to watch: Buffalo plays Week 7 with rankings momentum to defend.
