What happened: Pro Football Focus highlighted Penei Sewell on Thursday, emphasizing his physical blocking at tackle. The praise follows a stretch where Sewell shifted to left tackle on Oct. 19 to anchor the offensive front.

Why it matters: Detroit drafted Sewell seventh overall in 2021, and his versatility across both tackle spots remains central to offensive line stability. Sustained execution at the line of scrimmage preserves pocket depth against increasingly aggressive front sevens.

What to watch: Detroit prepares for its upcoming regular-season contest as Sewell continues anchoring the line.
