What happened: The Philadelphia Eagles fell 38-21 on Oct. 26, extending their regular-season losing streak to five games. Roster adjustments followed on Oct. 27 with three players activated from injured reserve and two additions made to the active group. Two practice squad members also exited the organization two weeks after signing in mid-October.

Why it matters: Digging out of the 15th seed requires an immediate defensive turnaround after allowing 38 points in the latest outing. Returning depth from injured reserve helps stabilize the lineup, but a five-game slide leaves minimal margin for error across the rest of the 2026 schedule.
