No doubt about it... Cristopher Sánchez is an All-Star! ⭐ https://t.co/piw3Wuja9S Via @Phillies on X

What happened: Cristopher Sánchez has been selected to his second National League All-Star team. The Philadelphia Phillies left-hander will represent the club at the July 14 Midsummer Classic.

Why it matters: The honor validates Sánchez's dominant first half and adds another milestone to his 2026 season. He is also a candidate to start the game.

By the numbers: Sánchez is 10-3 with a 2.00 ERA. His 50 2/3-inning scoreless streak was the fifth-longest single-season run in MLB history since at least 1893.

What to watch: The next decision is whether Sánchez will start for the National League.
